Forest Grove – The Washington County Land Use and Transportation Administration (LUT) issued an alert that says David Hill Road, between Thatcher Road and Antler Drive, will be closed for repairs from July 30 to August 20.
The project will replace an existing undersized culvert that is in poor condition, making it large enough for fish to pass, as well as widening guardrails and shoulders for improved roadway safety, according to a July 30 press release posted to LUT’s website.
Additionally, the road will be closed July 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to replace a utility pole. This improvement needs to be completed before the prior project can proceed, the press release states.
All work is expected to be completed by Aug. 27, according to LUT’s website.
