Three teenage girls ejected from Jeep in crash on Hillside Road

Hillside – A Jeep traveling east on Hillside Road near Gentleman Lane crashed into a field just after 5:15 pm today, ejecting three teenage girls, according to Forest Grove Fire & Rescue. One passenger was transported via life flight with life-threatening injuries. The other two passengers were taken to area hospitals by ambulance.

According to Sargent Bob Ray with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle failed to negotiate a turn and ended up traveling 318 feet, rolling over at least once before ending up resting on its side.

A trail of Jeep parts, clothes, and shattered glass was strewn across the fielding, juxtaposed against an otherwise peaceful farm field.

“Schools out, people need to slow down and be cautious.” said Sargent Ray.

Forest Grove Fire & Rescue praised two off-duty firefighters from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue who were first on the scene and provided first aid.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but at this time there are no charges being pressed.
