California woman arrested after allegedly pointing gun at motorist near Glenwood

Glenwood – Christina Salazar, 28, of Vallejo, California has been arrested on charges of menacing and unlawful possession of firearms after allegedly pointing a handgun at a motorist near Glenwood on Saturday night, according to  the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a call that a female motorist had pointed a firearm at another person during an alleged road rage incident near the Timber junction on Highway 6 at 7:19 pm.

While a deputy was taking a statement from the caller, the suspect drove by their location. Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Oregon State Police caught up to the suspect and conducted what they call a “high-risk” traffic stop near the intersection of Gales Creek Road and David Hill Road.

Deputies searched the suspect vehicle and located an unloaded Glock 17 9mm handgun in the center console, according to an article by Patch.com staff writer Travis Loose.
